Bovikalc Bolus 6x4 pieces

For preventive administration of calcium in cows susceptible to milk fever.
Also to supplement the calcium supply after an infusion to treat milk fever.

Instructions for use Bovikalc:

Bolus: At the first signs of an approaching calving.
Bolus: Immediately after calving.
Bolus: 12 to 15 hours after bolus 2 bolus.
Bolus: 12 to 15 hours after bolus 3 or 24 to 30 hours after calving.

After calcium infusion:

Bolus: 2 to 3 hours after infusion.
Bolus: 12 to 15 hours after first bolus. 

Bovikalc Bolus contains the following active ingredients: 1 bolus contains:

110 grams of calcium chloride dihydrate.
44.1 grams of calcium sulfate hemihydrate.
8.6 grams of polyethylene glycerylricinoleate.

Special precautions:
Administer Bovikalc only with an appropriate applicator. Do not administer to cows with clinical signs of milk fever because their swallowing reflex might be disturbed.
Do not administer in case of paresis (paralysis). Before administering, ensure that the bolus is in good condition (protective layer should be intact).

Storage:
Store Bovikalc in a dry place with a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
Each bolus should be kept in its original container until just before administration.
