Beaphar FIPROtec Spray 100 ml

FIPROtec Spray against fleas, ticks and biting lice in dogs and cats. Is ideal for treating puppies and kittens, the spray may be used from 2 days of age. The spray is applied over the entire coat and is therefore immediately effective. Works 1 month against ticks, 2 months against fleas in cats and 3 months against fleas in dogs.

Instructions for use

Dosage: it is important to moisten the coat down to the skin. Depending on hair length, administer 3 to 6 ml per kg body weight (7.5 to 15 mg active ingredient per kg body weight), i.e. 6 to 12 pumps per kg body weight with a 100 ml bottle.

Short-haired dogs/cats: 3 ml (6 pumps)
Long-haired dogs/cats: 6 ml (12x pumping)
1x pumping = 0.5 ml

The 100 ml bottle contains approx:
- 3 to 6 treatments for a dog weighing 5 kg, depending on hair length,
- 8 treatments for a short-haired cat weighing 4 kg,
- 2 treatments for a long-haired dog weighing 8 kg.

Features: The formulation contains a coating agent. As a result, a film forms during spraying, causing the coat to shine. In the absence of safety studies, the minimum treatment interval is 4 weeks.

Method of administration:
Spray the entire body of the animal at a distance of 10-20 cm against the direction of hair growth. Be sure to moisten the entire coat of the animal. Massage the coat, especially in long-haired animals, so that the veterinary drug can penetrate to the skin.
Wear PVC or nitrile gloves during treatment. To treat the area around the head, and when treating young or nervous pets, administration can be carried out by spraying on a glove and rubbing the veterinary drug into the coat. Allow to dry naturally. Do not dry with a towel.
For optimal efficacy, it is not recommended to bathe or shampoo animals during the two days before treatment or the two days after treatment. Pups and kittens as young as 2 days old can be safely treated.
